mentorAI is completely LLM-agnostic.
You can pick a different language model for each mentor so that every tutor runs on the model that best fits its use case.

Two Ways to Reach the LLM Settings

From the Model Name

In the mentor card, click the text that shows the current LLM model name.
This opens a page listing all available LLM providers.

Click the mentor’s name.
In the dropdown menu, select the LLM tab.
You end up at the same provider list.

Picking an LLM Provider and Model

Click any provider (e.g., OpenAI, Google).
A list of that provider’s models appears.
Select the model you want.
A confirmation message—“Success”—shows the switch is complete.
You can repeat the process for any other provider; the success message will appear each time.

Adding a Custom LLM

If your preferred model isn’t listed, you can integrate a custom LLM into the platform.
After it’s added, it will appear alongside the built-in options and can be chosen the same way.
