Datasets

Open the Datasets Tab

  • Click the mentor name dropdown.
  • Choose Datasets from the list of editable settings.

What You’ll See in the Datasets List

  • Name – title of the file or URL.
  • Type – file, URL, or other source.
  • Tokens – how many tokens the content contributes to training.
  • Storage Location – where the content resides (uploaded file vs. external link).
  • Status – indicates whether the material has finished training; large files may take longer.

Training Toggle

Each resource has a Training switch.

  • On → document is part of the mentor’s active knowledge base.
  • Off → document is ignored without deleting it (useful for outdated material you might reactivate later).

Visibility Toggle

Each resource also has a Visible switch.

  • On → learners see the source in a side panel when the mentor answers questions.
  • Off → mentor can still use the content, but learners won’t see or open it.

Deleting a Resource

  • Click the trash-can icon next to any entry to remove it entirely.

Adding New Resources

  • Select Add Resource.

  • Pick a source type:

    • File uploads (PDF, PowerPoint, images, video, etc.)
    • Cloud storage links (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive)
    • YouTube URLs or other web links
  • If using a cloud provider, connect your account when prompted and choose the files you need.

  • For direct uploads, browse to the file or paste the URL.

  • After adding, the new item appears in the list and begins training automatically.

Summary Tips

  • Use the Training switch to keep the knowledge base current without deleting past files.
  • Control learner access with the Visible switch—share sources when helpful, hide them when necessary.
  • Monitor the Status column to confirm large files have finished processing before relying on them.

You now have full control over what your mentor knows and what learners can see, all from the Datasets tab.
