Choose the Right Physics Mentor

• Open the Explore tab
• Pick the level you need:
  • Physics 101
  • University Physics Vol 1, Vol 2, or Vol 3
• Click Physics 101 Mentor to start a chat

Verify the Textbook Is Loaded

• Go to the mentor’s Data Sets
• Check that the OpenStax Physics 101 textbook shows a green Trained badge
• A number in the Tokens column confirms the content is fully ingested
• Visibility is set to On, allowing the mentor to cite textbook passages

Ask a Question

• Use a ready‑made prompt (e.g.,

  “What are the laws of motion?”
  ) if you’re not sure how to begin

• The mentor answers instantly, summarizing Newton’s three laws and naming the exact chapter used

Review Sources

• A Retrieved Documents panel opens automatically

• Each cited excerpt shows:

  • Chapter location in the textbook
  • A relevance score (percentage)
  • Click any excerpt to read the source in full

Result

You get clear, textbook‑sourced explanations with direct chapter references—plus links to the exact pages for deeper study.
